Our Story
Shin Cheak Huat Industries Sdn. Bhd. is a trading company of long standing dealing in several hundred types of foodstuff and industrial ingredients. It has established a good reputation in the past decades and grown up together with many of its customers, winning their trust and support too.
A History of Half a Century
Shin Cheak Huat, founded by Mr Tan Boon Hock nearly 50 years ago in Butterworth, Malaysia, has expanded its trade across Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, and China.
Over time, it has also established three affiliated companies: Shin Cheak Huat Industries, New U-Nited Chemical, and Chuan Hong Grinding Mill.
Enterprise of Modern Management
Like many Chinese companies in Malaysia and other countries in S.E.A., the first generation had founded the business with much perseverance.
The business then moved forward together with the pace of the times going through all the unfavorable conditions of different ages. It had developed from a crude business mechanism to an enterprise of modern management.

Our Vision
We have historically acted as an agent for products from China, Thailand, Taiwan, and Indonesia, and plan to expand our sourcing to Korea and Japan to meet evolving customer needs.
Recognising the importance of branding, we have established our own brands, including Leng Heng Agri Foods Ltd and Chuan Hong Grinding Mill Sdn. Bhd., as part of our strategy for sustainable growth.
