Shin Cheak Huat Industries Sdn. Bhd. is an established trading company supplying a wide range of food ingredients and industrial products.
From its beginnings in Butterworth, Penang, the company has grown alongside its customers, earning their trust through reliable supply, industry experience and long-term business relationships.
A Legacy Built Across Generations
Founded by Mr. Tan Boon Hock, together with his son, Mr. Tan Ban Leng
Nearly five decades ago, Mr. Tan Boon Hock laid the foundation of Shin Cheak Huat in Butterworth, Penang. Together with his son, Mr. Tan Ban Leng, the family business continued to grow and develop, building strong relationships with customers and business partners over the years.
What began as a local trading business has since developed into an established company serving customers across Malaysia and regional markets.
From Local Roots to Regional Reach
Over the years, Shin Cheak Huat has expanded its business network beyond Malaysia to markets including Thailand, Indonesia and China.
The business has also grown to include affiliated companies such as New U-Nited Chemical and Chuan Hong Grinding Mill, broadening its capabilities across different products and industries.
